Anatomy Approaches

Restorative Body Therapy is comprised of four distinct approaches to alleviating imbalances in our bodies that often result in chronic pain, tension, anxiety or stress: Manual Anatomy,
Breath Anatomy
Stretch Anatomy and Acoustic Anatomy.

Each of these approaches offer their own unique benefits but have two fundamental things in common: connective tissue (fascia) and the nervous system. Fascia is our body’s largest sensory organ consisting of 250 million nerve endings. These nerve endings not only sense pressure and pain, but communicate information about our body's position, movement, and internal state to the brain. This makes fascia and the nervous system inextricably linked and able to affect every moment of every day in how we experience life. Simply put–what affects the fascia alters the nervous system and what affects the nervous system alters the fascia. The goal in each approach is the same: to create balance in your physiological structure, which can help manage and potentially relieve chronic pain, tension, anxiety and stress.

All anatomy approaches are complimentary to one another and are available to schedule as both separate and combined appointments.
